Spleef is Seacraft's oldest minigame, in which players make their opponents fall by destroying the ground beneath them.

The Arena[]

The Spleef Arena is built on two levels with spectating areas on the side. It has walls of glass. There is a lobby made of bedrock at the bottom. The floor of the arena is made of snow so that it can be destroyed easily by shovels.

Gameplay[]

In Spleef, players are given diamond shovels have to have to destroy blocks under other people to make them fall down. If a player falls down both levels they are out of the game and are teleported to the spectating area. The winner is the player who is the last one standing.

Game Point Rewards[]

  • 10 GP - Given to each losing player.
  • 100 GP - Given to the winner.

History[]

The Forgotten Period
Please note that the following content may contain assumptions as some of the information has been lost or forgotten.

Spleef was created during Seacraft Alpha. It was the first minigame ever built on Seacraft, but it wasn't very good back then. It has gone through many changes over the years, including an added level, death in lava, scoreboard features, enchanted shovel usage, spectating area, automatic refilling and more!

Bugs[]

Spleef has a few known minor bugs. They are as follows:

  • SP-01: Players are not teleported to the spectating area when eliminated. (Fixed 4.0)
  • SP-02: Shovels are not removed from eliminated players. (Fixed 4.0)
  • SP-03: Players who rejoin the server after leaving mid-game do not get their inventory restored to them. (Fixed 5.0.1)

Trivia[]

  • Due to the lack of command usage, early minigames like Spleef had sets of rules that each player had to follow.
