Staff are the people in charge of Seacraft. These people have special responsibilities and authorities. Some of these include helping out with update and punishing people for disobeying the Rules. At the moment, ZacNVR, the server's owner is the only official staff member, though some other players have operator permissions.

History[]
Pretty early on, the server's owners zac5 (now ZacNVR) and jacobme32 (now jaykobe) decided to limit the number of staff on the server to a total of 5 operators, including themselves. aa11ron, their cousin, was made co-owner of the server, and each of them picked one of their friends to fill the remaining positions. The first operators were josh20202 and Zossimov2000.
Over time, these positions would be replaced, with samdogboy2 taking the place of josh20202 and Firecrafter4 taking the place of Zossimov2000. josh20202 rejoined the server in July 2014 after being demoted. He pleaded with zac5 for creative mode, which zac5 eventually granted him by introducing the "Community Member" rank.
Due to various innovations with the /scoreboard command, the various ranks got special username colours. Owners were blue, co-owners were dark aqua, operators were aqua and community members were red.
samdogboy2 was demoted to community member during November of 2014, replaced by edwardseychelles.
More of jacobme32's friends like RugbyDiamonds, Clone888 and Molten_Magma would become community members during the Five Nights Period.
ItsMoose was likely opped during the Shopping Centre Boom, despite TheBestOfTheSLUP (formerly Firecrafter4) not being de-opped, introducing a sixth operator into the fold.
For Seacraft 2.4, a plan was made to demote a large number of community members in order to push for survival. However, this ultimately never went through. There were also plans to add a "Sub-Operator" rank, with limited command access, but no one ever had this rank.
With the introduction of Seacraft 3.0, ZacNVR was now considered the only real staff member, though others were opped. jaykobe was also no longer considered an owner by ZacNVR, since ZacNVR had ultimate control over the server. That being said, jaykobe still serves as valuable input for ZacNVR.
